The Amateur Baseball Report and AAA Baseball are bringing exciting new opportunities to our region. This Spring, ABR will be conducting Prospect ID Camps throughout our area. Each ID camp will offer a pro-style 5-tool skills evaluation: hitting, fielding, speed, power, and arm strength. ABR Prospect ID Camps are designed to identify the top players in the nation. All the ABR Prospect ID Camps held around the country will put players through the same workout to ensure players are equally evaluated. ABR Prospect ID Camps are the foundation for the top top "National ABR Player Rankings" which are released in the fall issue of the ABR magazine. Individual skill rankings are available at amateurbaseballreport.com.
This year AAA Baseball and ABR will only be offering "Invite Only" Prospect ID Camps.
Invitational Prospect ID Camps
These camps are only open to players who have received an invitation from ABR. Invitations will be sent to the top players in the state. If you think you are one of these elite players, make sure your coach submits a nomination form. These camps will provide a pro-style evaluation with the addition of a controlled scrimmage game.
ABR Prospect ID Camps are for players who are 14, 15,16 & 17 years old. Age is determined by how old the player is as of May 1st.
Tentatively, ABR Prospect ID Camps will be held the first three weeks in June at various colleges and universities. See the Dates & Locations page for current information. We are currently working with colleges and universities throughout the state to host the ID Camps. Multiple ID camps will be held throughout our region to ensure all players have an opportunity to attend. Check back here for more information.
