The Amateur Baseball Report and AAA Baseball will be offering opportunities for the State's best players to compete in the WV Amateur Baseball Games. Our goal is to find the 24-36 best players in WV for each age group (14, 15, & 16) from the ABR Prospect ID Camps. These players will compete for 1st and 2nd Team All-State honors on "Team WV".
Where and when are the WV Amateur Baseball Games?
The WV Amateur Baseball Games will be held over a weekend in the Fall. The location and dates will be announced soon. We are currently having discussions with several locations and will keep you informed as information is available.
How can I get to the WV Amateur Baseball Games?
Only players who attend one of the ABR Prospect ID Camps will be eligible to play in the WV Amateur Baseball Games. AAA Baseball and ABR will select the top 24-36 players in each age group (14, 15, 16 yrs old) based on the results of the ID Camps.
How can travel baseball teams in the state support and get involved with the WV Amateur Baseball Games?
We want to promote travel baseball and its players. Travel baseball orgaizations can help us in many ways:

What to Expect:
The best players in the state will gather for a weekend of great baseball. (24-36 players in each age group 14, 15, & 16).
Each age group will be broken into 2-3 teams of 12 players
Each team will play two games in the following format
- Game 1: Team 1 vs Team 2
- Game 2: Team 2 vs Team 3
- Game 3: Team 3 va Team 1
Game format will consist of a controlled scrimmage:
- 6 inning games
- Each pitcher faces 5 batters each half inning
- Each pitcher throws 2 innings (10 batters)
- Each Catcher catches 3 innings ech game
- Every hitter bats at least twice per game.

Selection Committee
A selection committee will be formed for each age group to oversee the selection process. The selection committtee will consist of a chairman, 3 managers from the teams, 3 coaches from the teams, an ABR representative, and an USSSA representative.
If you are interested in managing or coaching a team during the weekend, please go to the Submit a Coaches Resume page and send us your resume. We will try to put together the best managers and coaches from throughout the state.

Team WV
The 1st Team WV selections will play and represent WV in a USSSA National tournament later in the Fall or Winter. Details are being worked out and will be announced later.
Team WV players will be highlighted on this website as well as ABR's national website amateurbaseballreport.com. 1st and 2nd Team selections will also be highligted in ABR's National Magazine.
