"Journey to the Dream"
ABR Qualifer for the USSSA All-American Games

2010 USSSA All-Americans from WV

2010 All-Americans from our region.

The Amateur Baseball Report brought unprecedented opportunities to baseball players right here in our region. In our first year, we had close to 150 of the top baseball players in the state participate in our Prospect ID Camps.  We had multiple college coaches from WV and Ohio (Marietta College, WV State, Fairmont State, Salem University, Ohio Valley University, etc.) attend and scout players.

We also hosted a Regional Try-out for the USSSA All-American Games.  This allowed over 50 in-state players that received invitations to attend a try-out without leaving the state.  Almost 20 of those players were invited to play in the 2nd Annual USSSA All-American Games at the Houston Astros Spring Training Complex in Florida.

Our region had 4 players make 1st Team All-American: 17-yr-old - Justin Fox from John Marshall HS, 15-yr-old - Josh Davis from Liberty HS,14-yr old - Colton Bonnett from RCB HS, and 14-yr-old Tristan Fields from Herbert Hoover HS.  These players will return to Florida this year to play for the USSSA National Team against international competition in the Gold Medal Games.

Look below for actual footage of Josh Davis at his 2009 ABR Regional Tryout.
